John Edwards According To Dr. Seuss

“Guess who’s back, having so much to say?!”
It’s John Edwards trying to run for Vice President claiming he not seeking it yet again today.”

“John Edwards, you are not what voters wanted in 2004 & even 2008, is what they say.
So will you kindly go away?”

“But John Edwards says he has the ideas that are here to stay!
You cannot make him go away!
The days go by.
The weeks do fly
And there is John Edwards on another talk show trying to sound like a working guy!
John Edwards, you are not what voters wanted in 2004 & even 2008, is what they say.
Even Hillary Clinton knew it was time to go away!”

“How can you deal with John Edwards, when he thinks its all about himself everyday?
Maybe we can ignore his blatant and self-serving egotistic way!
John Edwards you are not the Democrats answer….though you try & try….And Mr. Edwards here is why.
Barack Obama needs a running mate who can help him WIN on Election Day.
Say come to think of it, when was the last time you won on any Election Day?”

“You say you cannot win all the primaries and all the elections all the time.
You claim your ideas are the best and when people don’t vote for you, it’s a crime!
John Edwards, you are not what voters wanted in 2004 & even 2008, is what they say.
So will you kindly go away!”

“You did not win in New Hampshire, you did not win in North Carolina, you didn’t even win in Missouri!
New Mexico, Colorado, Oregon, Arkansas, and Arizona are swing states and you didn’t win any!

You claim you can add strength to this ticket but that idea is just an egg no chicken can lay.
North Carolina is where you were elected to the Senate, and in 2004 even John Kerry won that state anyway.
Your campaign promises alot but voters didn’t buy it and now you keep running and will not die!
John Edwards, you are not what voters wanted in 2004 & even 2008, is what they say.
Even Hillary Clinton knew it was time to go away!”

“You warn everyone of the need to help the poor.
As a rich trial lawyer did you give any of it for housing for the homeless? A roof? A wall? Maybe even a door!
You claim your supporters will send their messages wanting you on the ticket through e-mail!
This is a strategy you think will surely not fail!
You send out e-mail blasts to your supporters with a task for the day!
Listen up! Attention pay!”

“I will not deal with John Edwards today!
I will not now, so please now, you have lost, so go away!
Of all ths stories of impending doom, in this country all the lights will still be on.
Law and order won’t be gone.
Your ideas were tested and found by the voters in 2004 and 2008 to be a little stale.
Many voters like you as a person John, but as a candidate for Vice President with John Kerry, you did fail.
Why harp about this effort by John Edwards today?
Why even bother with this nonsense anyway?”

“Remember the Vice Presidential debate in 2004 when Dick Cheney was his foe?”
He treated the S.O.B. ever so kindly, and he even thinks he did well, even though the voters didn’t think so!
I heard it replayed on Larry King Live!
You should have sent in Elizabeth Edwards, she knows how to communicate, and not speak so much jive!
One of these days, you will realize you relied too much on looks & talk and not enough on substance.
You’ll realize as the Clinton’s taught us in ’92, it’s about the economy stupid, not about a right to a gun!
Besides in 2008, Hillary won 21 states to your none!”

“You are a loser, John Edwards, who lost in 2008 every single Primary Election Day!
Give it up and please go away!
Wesley Clark brings Barack Obama, at least Arkansas and the South and the military vote for instance.
Kathleen Sebelius could give us the dream of winning Kansas!
Janet Napolitano could put Arizona into play!
Hillary Clinton has 18 million voters who still want to have a say.”

“You should have run this year to defeat Elizabeth Dole on Election Day!
You should still be able to win in your homestate of North Carolina, don’t you think, eh?
But you just don’t get it
You go on the talk shows, flash your smile, claim you are not seeking the V.P., but will this charade stop!
Your very public and very constant denials of seeking the V.P. makes my head want to pop.
You told Stephanopolous today you are not seeking it but really why would anyone really care?
If you truly were not wanting to be it, then why keep talking about it & issue statements? please be fair!
John Edwards, you are not what voters wanted in 2004 & even 2008, is what they say.
So will you kindly go away!”

“John Edwards I am really tired of you today!
Shut up now Fool! Be on your way!
You think your strategy of denial for something you clearly want is cunning like a fox!
I grow so weary and leery of your name that I just want to climb into a box.
Another article about John Edwards, another press release of denial, will he ever go.
If he had spent this much energy on running that he spends on denying he might have won, you know.
So give it up
You egotistical freak!
Stop being so blatant in what you want!
You’re such a geek!
John Edwards, you are not what voters wanted in 2004 & even 2008, is what they say.
So will you kindly go away!”

“I will not deal with anymore with John Edwards today!
I will not, so John Edwards please be on your way!
I’ve told you I do not believe!
The supposed benefits to you being picked I cannot conceive!
The voters in 2004 and now in 2008 told you to go!
They’re right on this, I know! I know!
This year is Barack Obama’s year to win and I believe he will make change.
You had your chance to shine in 2004 and you lost. Stop acting so strange!
Elizabeth Edwards and your kids need you now, so put politics to bed.
All of this talk about how great you are is all in your head.
John Edwards, you are not what voters wanted in 2004 & even 2008, is what they say.
So will you kindly go away!”
